KATHMANDU: A total of 11 political parties have submitted their applications to register the party for upcoming National Assembly (NA) election.
According to Election Commission (EC), Nepal Communist Party (NCP), Nepali Congress, Socialist Party, Rastriya Janata Party, Nepal Janata Dal, Historical Democratic People’s Party, Nepal Workers and Peasants Party, Rastriya Janamorcha, Nepal Federal Social Party, Rastriya Prajatantrik Party and Ratriya Prajatantrik Party (United) have submitted their applications for the registration.
The EC is set to hold the elections for 19 seats of the NA on January 23.
