KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has expressed his satisfaction over the unhindered use of right to information (RTI).
RTI is being exercised in the country except on the issues of national sovereignty, national security, national unity and indivisibility, the PM said so while receiving the annual report of the National Information Commission (NIC) on Sunday.
The PM said that instead of imitating others’ practices and experiences, it would be implemented on our own context, PM’s press adviser Surya Thapa quoted the PM as saying. “We are committed to the highest form of democracy.
Our practices would be guided in the same line,” PM Oli added. On the occasion, Chief Commissioner of the NIC Krishna Hari Baskota, and commissioners Kiran Kumar Pokharel and Yashodha Timilsina were also present.
