206 Nepalis languishing in Malasyan jails

Total 206 Nepali migrant workers are languishing at various jails in Malasiya, writes Nagarik daily on its front page. They are in jail due to illegal status or on charges of misconduct.

The paper also writes that India is constructing a dam unilaterally near the boarder in Kailali district. Around 1,300 families at Kailari Gunpalika are fearing inundation in monsoon because of the dam under construction.

Another news story in the front page of the paper reports that an IT specialist of the Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli interfered the Department of Immigration at the Tribhuvan International Airport, on its IT software improvement works. Whereas the department had decided to update its IT by mobilizing its own human resources, Oli’s IT specialist, Asgar Ali forced the department to hire consultants of his choice for the work.
