Two killed in Nuwakot mini-truck accident

NUWAKOT: Two persons died and six others were injured in a road accident that occurred at Bidur Municipality-6 in Nuwakot district today.

The vehicle (Ba 2 Ka 7910) heading from Multhala to Chainpur was carrying the workers of Nagarjun Construction Company, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police of Nuwakot Rajesh Thapa.

The deceased are identified as co-helper Sudip Tamang, 19, of Naukunda Rural Municipality-3 from the same district and Abiral Tamang, 19, of Khotang district, DSP Thapa shared.

The injured are driver Ganesh Balami, Sachit Kumar Rimal, Shankarraj Sunar, Hemraj Thakuri, Tilak Khatri and Bimal Sunar, it is said.

Of the injured, two are referred to Kathmandu for further treatment while four are receiving treatment in Trishuli Hospital.
