NEW DELHI: Nobel laureate Abhijit Banerjee met Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi today.

Winner of the 2019 Nobel Prize for Economics, Banerjee, held a ‘fruitful’ meeting with PM Modi, Indian media reports said today.

Indian_American Banerjee, who is a professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the United States won the Nobel in economics, jointly with economists Esther Duflo and Michael Kremer.

PM Modi said they had a healthy and interaction on various subjects. (Agencies)
