CIAA Chief dissatisfied with PAC’s letter

KATHMANDU: Annapurna Post has highlighted disputes taking place in the unification taskforce of the ruling Nepal Communist Party and CIAA Chief’s objection to the letter sent by Parliamentary Public Account Committee (PAC).

The parliamentary committee had sent a letter to the CIAA ordering the anti-graft body to investigate the wide-body aircraft procurement case involving the embezzlement of around 4 billion rupees.

However, the CIAA Chief Nabin Ghimire expressed discontent over the letter saying that its style undermined the dignity of the constitutional body.
