Accused made public in Sujata Tamang murder case

PANCHTHAR: Police have arrested Dhanedra Lawati, 19, of Hilihang-6 on the charge of murdering Sujata Tamang, an employee at NMB Microfinance based in Gopetar of the district.

He was made public at a police conference at Phidim, the district headquarters, on Friday.

During the press conference, police also made public Rs 81,070 and a khukuri recovered from his possession.

DSP Narendra Kunwar at District Police Office, Panchthar said that Lawati murdered Tamang for money.

Tamang was found murdered at Hilihang -6, Bharapa on Tuesday.
