KATHMANDU: Transportation of ballot papers for the November 30 by-election has begun.
Election Commissioner Narendra Dahal informed that with the completion of the printing of ballot papers, the transportation has begun for the by-election from today.
According to him, all constituencies will get the ballot papers within three days, and the election materials would be handed over to the chief returning officers.
The ballot papers and voter’s identity cards, considered as sensitive documents, are being transported by the Nepal Army.
While they would be ferried by bus in the motorable places, the documents will be taken by helicopter to the remote places.
