‘Mahaujjwal Rastradip award’ to Late Dixit, Adhikari

KATHMANDU: The government has recommended the ‘Mahaujjwal Rastradip (First Class) award’ to litterateur Madan Mani Dixit and the then Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Rabindra Prasad Adhikari.

The award will be provided posthumously to late Dixit and Adhikari.

On the occasion of the fourth Constitution Day, President Bidya Devi Bhandari will honor people from various walks of life with various awards.

Similarly, the ‘Prabal Janasewashree (First Class) award’ will be given posthumously to tourism entrepreneur Ang Tshering Sherpa.

Similarly, the award will also be given to Prof Dr Dibya Singh Shah, Chief Justice Cholendra Prasad Rana, and five foreign professors.

Chairperson of the implementation committee of the High-Level Administrative Reforms Commission, Kashiraj Dahal, will be awarded ‘Ujjwal Kirtimaya Rastradip (Second Class) award’, the President’s Office said.

Similarly, a total of 634 people from various walks of life will be honored on the occasion.
