CIAA arrests irrigation division office employees for taking bribe

DOLAKHA: The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) arrested Prakash Adhikari, chief at the irrigation division office, Dolakha and Bhogendra Shah, an engineer at the division office, while taking bribe.

CIAA Spokesperson Pradeep Kumar Koirala said that a team of the anti-graft body caught Adhikari with Rs 13,38,000 and Shah with Rs 130,000 as bribe. They were arrested near Bhaktapur while coming Kathmandu from Dolakha. Further investigation into the case was underway.
