PHIDIM: An unidentified group torched an excavator parked at Limba of Miklajung Rural Municipality-7 in Panchthar district on early Thursday.
Police said that the group set the excavator, Ba 3 Ka 566, of Jwala Construction Service Pvt Ltd, used to construct Ranke-Rabi-Bhedetar road at Lekgaun, on fire.
Police Inspector at the District Police Office, Panchthar, Anil Kumar Poudel, said that the excavator was torched at 2 am. Reason behind torching the vehicle is still unknown. Police have started investigation into the incident, added Poudel.
