Four girls come under syringe attack in Dallu area



KATHMANDU: Four girls have been attacked with a syringe in Dallu area in the Kathmandu Valley in the last one and a half months.

Dr Anup Bastola of Shukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital, Teku confirmed that four girls have reported to the hospital complaining of syringe attack in the last one and a half months. They had a small hole on their waste and complained of severe pain, said Dr Bastola.

According to victims they were attacked by boys on moving motorbikes at night.

Doctors have suspected that the girls must have been attacked by a syringe of HIV and Hepatitis B and C. The victims are aged between 20 to 30. Their  health condition is normal and that the test results will come within three months.
