Cold wave hits normal life in Tarai

KATHMANDU: Normal life has been affected due to cold wave in the Tarai region. The thick cloud and cold wind have affected Tarai region since Tuesday.

The cold weather and thick fog will continue across the Tarai region today according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD).

The elderly, children and workers have been affected the most affected.  People are hurdling around fire and less movement of people is seen due to biting cold.

Kapilvastu, Rupandehi, Chitwan, Parsa, Kanchanpur, Banke, Bardiya, Kailali, Kanchanpur, Dhanusha, Nawalparasi, Mahottari, Saptari, Sunsari, Morang are likely to bear the brunt of cold wave.
