POKHARA: The second semi-final match of the 24th edition of the Aha Rara Pokhara Gold Cup is set to take place today at 2:30 pm at Pokhara Stadium, Kaski.

Uzbekistan’s Black Bulls FC will face off against Three Star Club, both aiming for a spot in the final.

The Black Bulls secured their place in the semi-finals by defeating India’s Thunderbolt North United Sikkim, while Three Star Club advanced after a hard-fought victory against Machhindra FC.

The winner of today’s match will face Nepal Police Club in the tournament final, scheduled for Saturday.

In the first semi-final held yesterday, Nepal Police Club secured their place in the final with a narrow 1-0 victory over Church Boys United.

A total of 12 teams—including three foreign clubs and nine domestic teams—are competing in this year’s tournament. The champion team will be awarded Rs 1.2 million, while the runner-up will receive Rs 1 million.

With high stakes and a strong line-up, today’s semi-final is expected to be an intense battle as both teams vie for a chance to lift the coveted trophy.
