BAGLUNG: Police have arrested four people on the charge of butchering an ox in Pala of Kathekhola Rural Municipality-1 in the district.

The arrested are 47-year-old Yam Bahadur Sarki, Resham Sarki, 29, Aite Kishan, 24, and Rabi Kishan, 18, of Chihan Danda of then Pala Village Development Committee.

A case has been filed against them in accordance with the Animal Health and Livestock Services Act, 1999, said DSP Jhabindra Bhattarai.

Bhattaria said they are investing the case after taking them on a remand from the district court.
