Flood damages Arun Third project



SANKHUSABHA: Flood triggered by heavy rain at the Makalu rural municipality of Sankhuwasabha has caused damage to the structures of the Arun Third Hydroelectricity Project, which is under construction.

The floods have damaged the project’s reservoir and washed away some machines, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police, Mim Bahadur Lama. According to him, around 200 quintals of iron rods and other materials have been washed away by the flood.
