Deuba stresses formation of task force to minimize accidents



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has stressed the need for forming a task force to study detailed study to reduce road fatalities in the country.

He urged the government to form a task force following the rise in road accidents in recent times. More than 10 passengers have gone missing on Tuesday when a jeep plunged into the Karnali River in Humla. Deuba has also expressed deep sorrow over the incident.

Deuba has asked the government to immediately expedite search and rescue of the missing people.
