One killed, nine injured in Dadeldhura road mishap



DADELDHURA: A man died while nine others sustained critical injuries when a micro-bus  met with an accident in Gunyadhura Municipality-3 on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as 26-year-old Ganesh Saud of Sayal Rural Municipality of Doti, confirmed District Police Office, Dadeldhura.

Critically injured Saud succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at District Hospital Dadeldhura.

According to police, the condition of Kaila Dholi, 47, among those injured, is said to be critical. Other injured include Kala Damai, 50, Lamxi Nepali, 37, of Silgadhi Municipality, Jaya Damai, 62,  his wife Bishna Damai, 45, their 3-year-old son Uddav Damai of Shikhar Municipality -11 and Raju Nepali, 40, of Barbata Doti.

Similarly, the others injured include Ishwar Singh Tamata, 62, of Ganyadhura Rural Municipality-5. Dadheldhura and Bir Bahadur Rokka Magar of Janaki Rural Municipality-2, Kailali, DSP Dambar Bahadur KC told Khabarhub.

All the injured are undergoing treatment at District Hospital, Dadeldhura.

Police said they have taken driver Binaya Bohara and micro bus owner Dev Singh Bhat under control and are investigating the case.

An ill-fated micro bus, Ba 2 Kha 1665, was heading toward Dhangadhi from Siligudi of Doti when it suddenly backtracked and fell some 35 meters down the road at 10:30 am today.
