3 held with weapons in Rautahat



RAUTAHAT: Police arrested three people with weapons at Damar Ajat Chowk of Rajpur Municipality-3 in the district.

Acting on a tip-off, a police squad deployed from security base camp, Fatuwa arrested Umeshwor Prasad Yadav, 37, of Subarna Rural Municipality-6, Bara, Damodar Sah, 38, of Parroha Municipality-6 and Chhote Lal Sah, 66 of Parroha Municipality-4, Rautahat.

A team led by Police Inspector Dil Bahadur Basnet arrested them with weapons while they were travelling by a motorcycle with an Indian number plate at 8 pm yesterday.

Police have seized a hand-made pistol and two rounds of its bullets, knife, pliers, screw driver and mobile sets from their possession.
