KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has lamented that he was deprived of his rights to express his views in Tuesday’s parliamentary session.

Leader of the main opposition, NC, Deuba said despite the party’s demands, he did not get the chance to speak in the parliament. “That’s why we were compelled to disrupt the session,” he said while speaking to the media after the parliament was adjourned.

“The Prime Minister’s responsibility is to respond to opposition’s queries,” an irate Deuba said adding that he had wanted to make the Prime Minister listen to the opposition’s voice.

The Nepali Congress earlier disrupted the session when PM Oli was standing on the rostrum to address the issue of the Guthi Bill in the parliament today.
