Govt land worth Rs millions encroached in New Baneshwar



KATHMANDU: Land mafias have encroached 11 ropanis of land belonging to the government in New Baneshwar in the name of a social organization.

It has been found that a total of 11 ropanis of public land is being by Bhadra Kumari Ghale Sewa Sadan.

The buildings of the social organization have been constructed on the bank of the Bagmati River even though it has its own land, a report in Rajdhani daily said.

Bishnu Raj Lamichhane, spokesperson of the National Vigilance Center, Bishnu Raj Lamichhane, said that the concerned body should direct to remove the constructions built on the encroached land.
