Police release journalist Giri



KATHMANDU: Arjun Giri, Editor of Tandav weekly published from Pokhara, has been released from police custody.

Giri was arrested under the Electronic Transaction Act for publishing a news.

Journalist Giri was released following an order of the Kathmandu District Court today.

A single bench of Justice Amber Raj Poudel issued the order to release him on a general date.

Giri was arrested by the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police on April 15.
