Issues related to Melamchi project will be addressed: Minister Magar



KATHMANDU: Minister for Water Supply Bina Magar has assured of expediting the remaining works of the Melamchi Drinking Water Project by addressing all existing problems at the earliest.

Minister Magar instructed all concerned and stakeholders to ensure swift work to resolve the existing problems.

Speaking at a program in Kathmandu today, she also instructed the concerned to work towards conserving the stone spouts and ponds in Kathmandu.

She also said her ministry will keep an eye on the progress of the works. Likewise, Secretary at the Ministry DIpendra Nath Sharma informed that the ministry had expedited the work of formulation of laws to manage drinking water supply in Kathmandu.
