Graft case against 7 for transferring govt land to individuals

KATHMANDU: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) filed a graft case against seven persons including Land Revenue Officer Krishdhoj Khatri at Land Revenue Office, Dhading for transferring government land into individual ownership.

The anti-graft body filed the case against the then officer Khatri, Naya Subba Shambhu Narayan Rajbhandari, Nayab Subba Anantaraj Satyal, the then surveyor Bishwo Kumar Basnet, surveyor Bhim Prasad Shrestha and landowners Nanu Adhikari and Ashok Adhikari.

CIAA said that it was revealed through the investigation that Nanu and Ashok transferred the ownership of the government land into their names with the help of the government employees.
