3 Nepalis die in Portugal in one week

KATHMANDU: Three Nepali migrants have lost their lives in Portugal in the past one week.

The deceased has been identified as 47-year-old Toran Bahadur Thapa.  Thapa died of cardiac arrest in his own apartment, according to his family sources. Thapa’s family has been living in Portugal.

Similarly, Nabin Kumar, 41, who originally hails from Nuwakot, passed away recently.

Likewise, 29-year-old youth from Pokhara passed away in the country on Tuesday. A postmortem report said that he died of excessive consumption of alcohol.

Preparations are underway to bring the youth’s body to Nepal, said NRN, Portugal chapter.
