GORKHA: Samajwadi Party Nepal senior leader Dr Baburam Bhattarai has ruled out the possibility of reinstating the institution of monarchy at any cost.

Stating that it would be wrong to assume that monarchy would be reinstated in the country, Dr Bhattarai said monarchy making a comeback is next to impossible.

Speaking at a program in Gorkha, he also suggested former king Gyanendra Shah to open a political party if he has the desire to rule the country again.

“Assuming that monarchy would be reinstated merely on the basis of people receiving tika during Dashain would be wrong,” he said.
