Elderly woman dies after being hit by Bolero jeep



BHAKTAPUR: An elderly woman has died after being struck by a Bolero jeep, Ba 14 Cha 1686, at Madhyapurthimi Municipality-4 in the district.

The deceased has been identified as Laxmi Devi Bhattarai, 76, of Likhu Rural Municipality-6 in Okhaldunga, currently staying at Madhyapurthimi-4, said DSP Rewatiraman Pokharel of Metropolitan Police Range, Bhaktapur.

The jeep struck her to death while she was crossing the road through zebra crossing.

Police said they are investigating the case after taking jeep driver 24-four-year old Binod Ghimire under control.
