KATHMANDU: A park in commemoration of Madan Bhandari is to be constructed at Chandragiri Municipality-13.
The project, a collaborative effort between the Kathmandu metropolis and Chandragiri Municipality, will cost Rs 10 million, said Chandragiri Municipality mayor Ghanshyam Giri.
The Kathmandu metropolis has allocated budget to all municipalities in Kathmandu to construct a park in the locality. The foundation stone for the park in Chandragiri was laid on Thursday.
According to the mayor, they expect the implementation of the project will help promote the local tourism.
