KATHMANDU: Various ministers, ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) leaders, including former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal, visited various districts of the Tarai to take stock of the situation after the recent floods.

Party senior leader Nepal was accompanied by Minister for Health Upendra Yadav, Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa, Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Raghubir Mahaseth and Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Barsha Man Pun.

Likewise, Parliament’s Development Committee chairperson Kalyani Khadka and lawmaker Prabhu Sah were also present in the team.
