ANNISU-R padlocks TU Commission over ‘irregularities’

KATHMANDU: All Nepal National Independent Students Union-Revolutionary (ANNISU-R) associated with Communist Party of Nepal (Revolutionary Maoist) led by Mohan Baidhya alias ‘Kiran’ has padlocked the office of the TU Commission.

The ANNISU-R padlocked the Office demanding the scrapping of the results published by the Commission over irregularities, said Sangharsha Dahal of the organization.

“There are huge irregularities in the examinations conducted by the TU Commission. The family members and kin have passed the exam. We have been demanding reexamination of the Commission. But the Commission has been taking interview ignoring our demand. That is why we padlocked the office,” said Dahal.

The agitating students have been staging relay hunger strikes in front of TU Commission since June 13.
