GAIGHAT: A woman died in a lightning strike at Katari municipality-8 in Udayapur district last night.
The deceased, Kalimaya Ale, was sitting at her house when she was struck by lightning, police said.
According to police, a storm that occurred during the night also destroyed fruits and crops in several areas of the district.
