NCP Gen Secy Poudel holds talks with Chinese leader Ping

KATHMANDU: General Secretary of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Bishnu Poudel held a meeting with Ai Ping, Vice President, Chinese Association for International Understanding, in Beijing today.

During the meeting, the duo discussed Nepal-China relations, party sources said.

Their discussions also dwelt on further strengthening ties between the two neighbors, including the much-talked about bringing rail to Nepal.

General Secretary is currently in China.

In Xian of China, he inaugurated the Xian South Asian Study Center at Xian University in China’s Shaanxi Province on Monday.
