DHANUSHA: A suspicious object resembling a pressure cooker bomb was found in Janakpur Sub-metropolitan City-9 in Dhanusha district on Sunday evening. Locals informed the police about it.

Police, following the information, intensified security in the area and called the bomb disposal team of the Nepal Army to diffuse the bomb, said DSP Rameshwor Karki of District Police Office, Dhanusha.

Earlier, on Saturday, three people including a police inspector had been killed when a bomb went off in a businessman’s house at Mahendranagar Bazaar in Dhanusha district.
