Bomb goes off at NCP Province 5 chief whip’s house



BUTWAL: Bombs have been detonated in the residence of Bhumishwor Dhakal, chief whip of the Nepal Communist Party for Province 5. According to police, the explosion took place  on Thursday night when the Dhakal family members were sleeping.

However, Dhakal was not in the house when the explosion took place. He is in Kathmandu for treatment. The explosion has slightly damaged the rear part of his vehicle with the registration no. Lu 1 Ja 456.

According to police, three motorcycle-borne assailants carried out the explosions targeting Dhakal’s house.

Police said they are trying to nab the culprits and carrying out investigation into the incident, said DSP Bhim Lal Bhattarai of Area Police Office Butwal.
