98% students study at community schools



LALITPUR: Community schools have become the center of attraction for students in Mahankal Rural Municipality, which is located to the southern part of the district.

As many as 98 percent of students in this locality study at community schools. The number of students has grown at community schools thanks to the awareness campaign launched by local units, parents’ initiation and cooperation.

A total of 28 schools including one private are in this Mahankal Rural Municipality, informed Ram Chandra Dahal, chief of rural municipality.

Almost 2, 200 students study in these schools, according to Dahal.
