TIA to remain closed today for 30 minutes



KATHMANDU: All flights at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) will be halted for 30 minutes on Friday during Bangladeshi President Abdul Hamid’s departure from Nepal.

The airport will be closed from 4:40 PM to 5:10 PM today, according to the TIA.

Bangladeshi President Hamid, who was on a 4-day goodwill visit to Nepal at the invitation of President Bidya Devi Bhandari, is leaving for Bangladesh today at 5 pm.
