RJP lawmaker Sah arrested from TIA



KATHMANDU: Police have arrested Pramod Kumar Sah, a lawmaker of the Rastriya Janata Party Nepal (RJP) today.

The Dhanusha District Court had on Tuesday issued an arrest warrant against Sha, who had vandalized the counter of Buddha Air at Janakpur Airport on Monday after his flight was delayed.

He has been arrested from the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) on Tuesday, police said. He was about to fly to Okhaldhunga.

A member of the House of Representatives (HoR) elected from Sarlahi had on Monday misbehaved with the staffers of Buddha Air at the Janakpur Airport.

Following the incident, the Airlines Operators Association of Nepal had issued a week-long ultimatum seeking action against lawmaker Sah.
