Man shot dead by unidentified miscreants in Rupandehi



RUPANDEHI: A person has been shot dead by unidentified assailants in Rohini village municipality of Rupandehi on Sunday, district police said.

The gruesome incident took place at around 2:30 pm when the victim identified as Mahendra Kurmi, 35, of Omsatiya village municipality was coming out of Himalayan Bank in Bhairahawa by withdrawing cash, according to DSP Birendra Bahadur Shahi.

The police immediately rushed to the spot after receiving the information about the incident.

Police have initiated an investigation.
