Gold price sets new record with Rs 71,500 per tola

KATHMANDU: The gold price has increased by Rs 12,00 on Thursday.

With the hike, the price of hallmark gold has reached Rs 71, 500 per tola, setting a new record, said Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association (FENEGOSIDA)

Earlier, on August 17, the bullion had been traded for Rs 71,000. Similarly, the price of silver increased by Rs 20 to reach Rs 840 per tola on Thursday.
