AGENCIES: If you follow Gigi Hadid on Instagram, you’ve likely been flooded recently with photos of her beautiful vacation.
But it was not always sunshine and beachy photos, Supermodel Gigi Hadid and her friends were robbed during her recent trip to Mykonos, said Hadid.
After receiving backlash over her criticism of the island, she recently clapped back on Instagram.
The 24-year-old doubled down on her original statement, posting a long-winded comment to the photo.
It read: ‘Let me make this clear for everyone below who thinks I don’t deserve to have an opinion on my experience and warn people of this – I was robbed along with more than 30 houses that night, some to gunpoint.’
She also explained that the island’s lack of sufficient law enforcement made it nearly impossible to report the crime.
