Water level decreasing in Saptakoshi River

ITAHARI: Water level has slightly gone down in the Saptakoshi River.

According to Armed Police Force Inspector Surendra Bhandari, the water level that had increased since the past few days has decreased today.

As many as 28 sluice gates of Koshi Barrage over the river have been opened today.  Inspector Bhandari said the opening of the gates relies on the control room while expressing anonymity on when and how many doors would be opened.
