Three escape from police custody



BANKE: Three persons held on different charges escaped from the area police office at Khajura rural municipality on Saturday night. They escaped after cutting through the ventilator grill of the cell toilet.

The escapees have been identified as Siman BK, 18, Nirmal Thapa, 19, and Ujjwal Karki, all of the same rural municipality.

Of them, BK was arrested on July 15 on a case related to banned narcotics, while Thapa and Karki were held on July 8 on public offense case. The district police have launched a search for them, said Superintendent of Police Bir Bahadur Oli.
