Death toll from floods and landslides climb to 65; 30 still missing



KATHMANDU: The death toll from landslides and floods triggered by incessant rains across the country has reached 65, confirmed Nepal Police.

According to Nepal Police, 30 people have gone missing while 38 have been injured due to natural disasters.

Among those killed in the disaster include 24 women and 41 men. Similarly, 17 women and 21 men have sustained injuries.

Police said 12 women and 18 men have gone missing in the floods and landslides. A total of 1,446 people have been rescued safely.
