French Embassy celebrates Bastille Day in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: French Embassy in Nepal celebrated Bastille Day, national day of France in Kathmandu.

A reception was organized at the Hotel De l’ Annapurna on July 14 to celebrate the French National Day, which is also called Bastille Day. It is the common name given in English-speaking countries to the national day.

French Ambassador to Nepal Francois-Xavier LEGER and other embassy officials welcomed guests and dignitaries on the occasion.

Vice President of Nepal Nanda Kishor Pun, high-level officials, ambassadors of different countries, journalists, businessmen, celebrities, among others participated in the celebration.
