GALKOT: A person died and two others sustained injures in a road accident that took place at Bhedikhola Friday night. The deceased has been identified as Man Bahadur Khati of Galkot Municipality-4, Nuwakot.
He died this morning while undergoing treatment at the Manipal Teaching Hospital in Pokhara, according to the District Police Office, Baglung. The accident involving a taxi, Dha 1 Ja 513, took place due to high speed, falling some 15 meters below the road at around 10 pm.
The taxi was carrying passengers from Hatiya of Galkot to Nuwakot when the accident took place. The injured include the taxi owner and driver Hum Bahadur Kunwar and Aaayush Karki. They are undergoing treatment at the same hospital, according to police inspector Krishna Hari Sharma.
