Girl attacked with acid in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: In yet another incident of acid attack in the capital, a 20-year-old girl has become the victim of such attack at Kalopul on Wednesday evening, police have said.

An unidentified person threw acid on her face and body and fled the scene, according to the police. The girl, Jenny Khadka, has sustained injuries in her body.

She was rushed immediately to the Om Hospital at Chabahil. Police have initiated investigation into the matter.
