4.8-magnitude quake jolts far-west Nepal



KATHMANDU: A fresh earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale has jolted far-west Nepal at the wee hours on Monday.

According to National Seismological Center (NSC), Lainchaur, tremors were recorded at 4:27 am with its epicenter in Kailash area of Bajhang district.

The tremors were felt in Bajhang and its surrounding areas. However, no casualties have been reported so far.
