Govt-Raut deal constitutional: Minister Pandit

JANAKPURDHAM: The deal sealed between the government and CK Raut deal is as per the spirit of the constitution, said Lal Babu Pandit, Minister for Federal Affairs and General Administration.

Addressing a press conference here today Minister Pandit clarified that the essence of the word people’s opinion mentioned in the agreement does not mean the referendum whereas it rather means general election.

He added that such issues would be resolved through election and democratic practices.

On another note, he said that the government did not want war with Biplav-led party. He also shared that the civil servants adjustment process will be completed within 15 days.
