KATHMANDU: Nepali women volleyball team has won the first edition of the Asian Volleyball Confederation Asian Senior Women Central Zone Volleyball Championship in Bangladesh.

Nepal defeated the Maldives in straight sets by a score of 25-13, 25-12 and 25-8 on Thursday.

Nepal has won for the first time an international volleyball tournament without losing a single game.
