Woman gruesomely murdered in Sarlahi



SARLAHI: A woman has been ruthlessly murdered with a sharp weapon at Sundarpur in Chakraghatta Rural Municipality in the district.

The deceased has been identified as 22-year-old Khursida Khatun. Police have found her body in a sack ready to be disposed of.
According to police, Khursida was killed by 35-year-old Koraisa Khatun, the first wife of Sheik Balal.
Balal had married Khursida three months ago after he could not bear any children from the first wife. Deep cuts are visible on Khushida’s neck, head, and chest.

Balal had left his house for foreign employment only three days ago. Police said they are investigating the case after taking the murder-accused into police custody.
